These Billing Terms form part of the Terms of Service and cover the commercial side of your Inboard subscription. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. Plans and fees
Current plans, their features, and their prices are listed on the pricing page. Fees are quoted in US dollars unless otherwise stated, and are exclusive of applicable taxes. If a local tax applies, it will be added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
2. Billing cycles
Paid plans are billed in advance at the start of each cycle. You can choose between monthly and annual billing. Annual plans are discounted relative to the monthly equivalent and are paid up-front for the full twelve months.
3. Session metering and overage
Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of install sessions. A session is counted once per unique end-user per twenty-four-hour window. When you approach your allowance we will notify you in the dashboard. If you exceed it, overage is billed in line with the rate published on the pricing page, or is blocked with a soft warning if you have configured your account to cap usage rather than pay for overage.
4. Credit packs
You may purchase pre-paid credit packs to cover overage or one-off usage bursts. Credits apply before overage is billed and expire twelve months after purchase if unused. Credit purchases are non-refundable once applied to your balance.
5. Plan changes and proration
You can upgrade at any time; the new rate is prorated for the remainder of the current cycle and charged immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle to avoid the awkwardness of partial refunds. Switching between monthly and annual billing is permitted at renewal and at upgrade time.
6. Payment failure
If a payment fails we will retry the charge automatically over a period of up to fourteen days and email you to update your payment method. During the retry window the Service continues to function. If the retries do not succeed we may downgrade the account to the Free plan or restrict access to paid features until billing is resolved.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Dashboard → Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle, and you keep paid-plan features until then. You can also delete your account entirely from the same screen; deletion is immediate and not reversible.
8. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing cycles or for unused credits, unless required by mandatory consumer-protection law. For annual plans, we will consider a prorated refund on request within thirty days of the most recent renewal in cases of significant service issues on our side.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact billing@inboard.dev before raising a chargeback — we will almost always resolve the issue faster directly. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us may result in immediate account suspension pending resolution.
10. Data after cancellation
After you cancel a paid plan you revert to the Free plan with its usage limits; your projects, install templates, and install data remain accessible. If you delete your account, all Customer Content is deleted within thirty days, except records we are required to retain for tax, audit, or legal-compliance reasons (typically invoices, kept for seven years). See the Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
11. Free plan
The Free plan is provided without charge but is subject to the same Terms, acceptable-use rules, and limits published on the pricing page. We may change Free-plan limits with thirty days’ notice.
12. Changes to these Billing Terms
We may update these Billing Terms from time to time. For changes that affect existing subscriptions (price changes, meaningful changes to allowances) we will give at least thirty days’ notice by email and in the dashboard. You can cancel before the new terms take effect if you disagree.
